About Director/Choreographer

编导概念
这是我本身在自己27岁生日前夕的灵感,对于自己过去,现在与未来的看法,感想和体会。以三首本身创作的新诗《胎动》,《辉煌》和《看着》作为灵感泉源的一个混合演出(综合戏剧,肢体,舞蹈,情感,文字,诗歌,剧场和影象),将完全属于演员/舞者自我创作,再加上影像设计师的创作,两者已经激起第一番火花,再来经过我的创作/调整,又是第二番火花,现场剧场与观众与演出的凑合,将会最终一个未知的创作火花。对于最终演出效果和呈献,一概的制作群都是未知和充满着冒险和挑战性。

The Director’s Concept
It was an inspiration which arises before my 27th Birthday. The initial idea ventures from the past, current and my future perspectives, thoughts including everything that I had felt before. This ‘Multi-elements’ performance (including Drama, Body, Dance, Emotion, Writing, Poetry, Theater and Multimedia) is inspired based on three self-composed poems: "Fetal movement", "The peak of Sacrificial day" and "Staring". It will be a complete creation of the performers and the multimedia designer, arousing the first spark for the performance. The ideas and arrangement which are then done on my end will create the second spark for the performance. Eventually, with the mixture of theatrical effect and audience response, I hope for the lead to an unknown spark of excitement for this performance. The final artwork to be presented will be built on uncertainties, risks and challenges.

陈全能
1997年,加入北海麦曼珍中学戏剧团,并参与第八届至第十届槟威中学生戏剧比赛里任职了工作人员、演员、副导演。毕业后,亦活跃于各项舞台和舞蹈演出的幕后执行,如《怪兽》、《呐喊》、《TWO》、《北马青年戏剧节》等等。 2001年,因为任职Noise Performance House首部作品《鬼藏》的编剧,而加入Noise,也开始热忱参与在剧本创作和编写之中.他的编写作品有:《镜花水月》、《Y2K》、《每日一用》、《大反派》夺得最佳剧本奖、《鬼藏》、《Monster》、《纸蝴蝶》、《曙光》、《新势力Vol. 1之萨特先生与哈比小姐》、《Paradise》、《兄弟》、《新势力Vol. 2之爸爸爱妈妈》、《晚餐》与《槐花开》。也参与Ombak-Ombak制作的《Storm in the box》等。同时,凭着《Paradise》,荣获“第四届马来西亚戏炬奖”最佳原创剧本奖,随后凭《兄弟》,入围“第六届马来西亚戏炬奖”最佳原创剧本奖。他也是第二,三与四届想飞戏剧营和第一届造心厂儿童戏剧生活营戏剧导师之一。除此而外,他对于舞蹈和肢体演出也是相当热爱,所以在大学期间也积极参与校内外有关的活动,课程和演出,以不断提升自己的表演视野和水平,


The Director & Screenwriter
Kent Tan

On 1997, he joined the Drama Society of Mak Madin Butterworth Secondary School while participated in the Sixth to Tenth Penang Youth Drama Competition as stage crew, actor and Co-director. He then actively indulged in various type of Mandarin-based stage performance or dance performance by working mostly as backend management after graduated. By the year 2001, he joined Noise Performance House (NPH) when given the chance to screen write the first NPH‘s play "Hidden Ghost". His continuous effort as the screenwriter role, winning him a few Best Screen Play awards among all the work he has done. He successfully making a big step further by winning The Best Original Screen Play in the Forth ADA Drama Award with his work "Paradise"and was again nominated for the same award for "Brothers" in the Sixth ADA Drama Award. He is then involved in English-based theater production such as the Ombak-Ombak Production of " Storm in the box" and etc. Apart from performance, he was also actively involved in various Drama Camps as Instructor, educating youth on drama-learning. He is now still an activist in drama performance while also indulging deeply in dance or body interaction-based performance.
